You are traveling by bus, coming from the east to the Bethaniendamm stop:

This busstop is at the opposite side of the street from Morphine Raum. So you’ll cross Köpernicker Straße. To do so, continue walking in the direction the bus was going, or your left hand side, approx. 20 meters from the busstop to the corner of the street. There you will cross to your left.

This crossing has traffic lights. This is a busy street, with cars, busses, and bicycles. On each side of the street there, there is a bus stop. There’s a tiny island in the middle of the street, only slightly elevated, with a big streetlight pole in its middle. On the other side of Köpenicker Straße, take a left. From the corner it’s 80 meters until you take a right into the ‘driveway’ leading to Morphine Raum. It’s the second one that you’ll pass.

You are traveling by bus, coming from the west to the Bethaniendamm stop: Then you’ll join on the same route from here, except that your distance to Morphine Raum entreeway is approximately 50 meters. You’ll also pass a first chonky stone-driveway before the second one that is towards Morphine.

The main, middle space of this sidewalk is made up of the large old stone slabs that are somewhat uneven from one another, with the usual small tiles to the left and right edges of the sidewalk. You’ll notice the first ‘exit/entree/driveway’ from its medium sized chunky stones, that can have big gaps between them, so don’t wear heals ;-) The second time you feel the medium chunky stones, that’s the entreeway to Morphine Raum on your right hand.

The entree is a big gate, with a gate-door to its right side. These may or may not be standing open upon your arrival, but you’ll be able to open the gate-door and step through it. Beware that right in front of the date-door there is a pothole located in the ground which is slightly elevated. There’s some sand to the left of it, where they seem to have filled a hole newly.

The subsequent structure is: first a parking lot/courtyard, with a low building structure on your left side, then a big high building with a crossing underneath it, then the second courtyard, and then another big high building in which Morphine Raum is located. It’s about 40 meters from the gate to the door of Morphine Raum. The stones on the parking lot/courtyard are medium small dogbone shaped. However, there is one straight line of thin straight stones going from the gate, straight through the right edge of the passageway passing under the first building. Slight elevation there, then down again after the passage, there you’ll find slightly uneven asphalt/concrete ground surface.

Enter by stairs: There are four big steps up to the big door. If the door is closed when you get there, note that you’ll have to step back down some steps to open it and pass through. Equally, if someone comes down to let you in, beware that their opening the door outwardly, and could push you off the steps if you stand right in front of the door without their knowledge. Once inside, on your right hand side, there is one set of stairs to Morphine Raum, which you can enter to your right hand side then, or straight ahead.

Enter by elevator: When you’ve reached the bottom of the steps to the Morphine Raum door, navigate around the corner to the right of it (there could be some objects or bikes standing there), entering the passageway under that building. Note that there is a slight ramp down in the concrete. Open the door you’ll find to your left hand there and about 1,5 meter inside, to your right hand you’ll find the door to the elevator. It’s an old style elevator.
